What is the purpose of Doctrine? Of every doctrine you hold dear, from “thou shalt not steal” to the crucifixion, to Baptism? The bottom, underlying purpose that ties all of these scattered, seemingly unconnected doctrines into one “Unified Doctrine Theory”, so to speak?

Most people have never even asked the question, but it is a very vital one. If you could understand all doctrine and all knowledge, it would make one beautiful, simple, clear picture to you. What would that picture reveal?

Ephesians 1:17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

In other words, Wisdom, Revelation, and Knowledge will serve to open your understanding, to teach you about his calling, and the glory of his inheritance that YOU were called to receive. In other words, to teach you about the plan of God. Now, to understand the plan of God, you must first understand the nature of God, since the plan of God is largely about giving His children His nature, which they can’t have if they don’t even know what it is!

So in a nutshell, the purpose of all doctrine, and every truth you will ever learn, is to teach you about the plan of God, and by extension, the nature of God. Now that by itself is worthy of an article or two, but it’s not the topic of this one. In this one we are talking about COUNTERFEIT, FALSE doctrine.

These are doctrines like Three Days and Three Nights, Easter, Christmas, the false Jesus, the Lord’s Day on Sunday, the Passover 14^th/15^th controversy, etc. These are the Doctrines of Satan, and his churches and his ministers.

2 Corinthians 11:13-15 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

Satan has his own Apostles, men who go out and convert great numbers of people in the name of Jesus – but with his own doctrines, each with their own twist.

Matthew 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

But so far, this is all pretty much Church of God 101. The question I am putting forth today is, are the doctrines of the devil arbitrary? In other words, when Satan started corrupting true doctrines, did he just pick other doctrines at random, or was there some method to his corruption? What I mean is, did the devil do the same thing that God did with doctrine – did HE use it to tell HIS story and HIS plan and HIS version of history?

When I first contemplated that, I thought it was a very provocative question. So, let’s turn to a few of the doctrines, one by one, and see if we can understand Satan’s doctrines as his version of the past and future events and a part of HIS plan the same way we can understand God’s.

Let’s start with the Good Friday-Easter Sunday doctrine.

Of all the doctrines of this world churches, this one is the easiest to prove to a new convert. Any child can see that between late afternoon on Friday and early Sunday morning is 36 hours, and yet Christ clearly said He would be in the ground THREE DAYS and THREE NIGHTS. Very, very easy to prove. If you haven’t read it yet, don’t delay to read my shocking article “The Resurrection Was NOT On Sunday!”

And so why didn’t Satan make a better counterfeit? If he wanted to change the doctrine, he just had to make it three days and four nights. Or two days and three nights. That might have been more difficult to disprove from the Bible. But it must have been very important to Satan to leave such a BLATANT, easily disproved discrepancy in one of his most basic doctrines, which leaves such a fatal opening for people to understand the truth. Again, why?

Well, again, let’s see what this doctrine says. It says that late afternoon on Friday, “Jesus” was crucified, and killed. He lay dead in the grave all day Saturday, and on Sunday morning he rose up in full glory once again. Now we know that the “Jesus” that this world teaches is “another Jesus, whom we have not preached” (2 Corinthians 11:4)

This “other Jesus” is the god of this world’s churches and, ergo, the god of this world. So at what point did, or will, the God of this world go through a similar experience that he would want to commemorate with a very important holiday celebration, the most important of all holidays, world-wide?

Well, you see, Satan is the god of this world. But he wasn’t ALWAYS the God of this world. No, there was a time, albeit brief, where he was not the god of this world! Did you know that? No, indeed, he wasn’t always God of this world. As you may know, long ago, long before Man was created, God assigned Satan to the earth with a third of the angels. (Compare Revelation 12:4, Jude 1:6, and 2 Peter 2:4) – see also my article “The Biography of the Devil”

And while he was here, since he was in charge, he was, in a sense, the God of this world. And after the war in heaven which ended in him being cast back to the earth as a prisoner here, he still had his powers and was still the God of this world. But the creation of Adam changed all that!

With the creation of Adam, God took the throne he had allowed Satan to have such a long time, and handed it to Adam! And Satan’s power over the earth was gone, for there was a NEW king!

Genesis 1:26,28 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have DOMINION over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth… and over EVERY LIVING THING THAT MOVETH UPON THE EARTH.

And so now Adam was king of the all the earth. As such, he even outranked Satan! Adam, who was given dominion over all the earth by God Almighty, was in a position of such authority that he had the power to force Satan to leave with his tail between his legs (so to speak,) all that he had to do was exactly what Christ – the second Adam – did.

Matthew 4:10-11 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.

ADAM COULD HAVE DONE THIS! His God-given position as king over all the earth, and over every CREEPING THING (even serpents!) on the earth gave him the authority to rebuke the devil in the name of the Lord and the devil would have LEFT him! ADAM WAS KING, and from the moment God pronounced that, Satan was deposed from his throne as God of this world!

And so, during that period of time between Adam’s creation and the Fall, SATAN WAS POWERLESS OVER THE EARTH! A position that, to him, was practically equivalent to DEATH! And yet, when Satan tempted Eve, who in turn fed Adam, they became his servants – voluntarily!

Romans 6:16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

When the king over the earth, Adam, yielded himself as a servant of Satan, SATAN BECAME IN CHARGE OF THE KING, AND THEREFORE BECAME THE KING HIMSELF! AND HE HAS BEEN EVER SINCE!

And I can prove that this happened on the Wavesheaf Sunday morning! (Please request my free booklet “Biblical Chronology – Solved At Last!” for full details) And since everyone knows that Adam was created towards late afternoon on the Sixth Day of creation week, Friday… what do we have? Good Friday and Easter Sunday!

But is it possible that Adam and Eve “fell” in just 2 days from creation, you ask?

It is a fair question. And I ask you another – how long would God (who must have been reasonably sure this was going to happen) have waited before allowing Satan access to the garden? Would He have dragged it out as long as possible, or gotten it over with? And for that matter, how long do you think it would take a deceitful human spirit to be sold into slavery to sin? 33 years? 7? 2 months?

And most importantly of all, just how long do you suppose Satan would have waited after their creation to try to deceive them and regain his position as god of this world??

And so if all of this is correct, we can tell a story as follows – that God created Adam and then Eve on Friday, probably late afternoon. And all day on Saturday God hallowed the first Sabbath and set the example for it’s use by giving Adam the laws, the rules by which he and his children were to live their lives during the coming 6000 years of his independent rule, and early the next morning the Devil came and tempted Eve, who along with her husband sinned and restored Satan to his position as God of this world!

And according to Satan’s counterfeit holy days, Good Friday and Easter Sunday, this false Jesus was “crucified” and removed from his throne as god of this world on Friday afternoon with the creation of Adam. And all day Saturday he was powerless to try to deceive Mankind, since God was personally teaching Adam the law, and so Satan remained “dead” in the tomb all day Saturday, and then bright and early Sunday morning, like the Phoenix rising from the Ashes, he coerced Adam into handing him his throne on a silver platter and was resurrected in glory to the throne upon which he still sits as GOD OF THIS WORLD!

Of course, I admit that much of that is speculation, but it does fit the facts very nicely. It also explains why these are the most important holy days of the year around the entire so-called Christian world.

And as a similar, more minor, but nonetheless revealing counterfeit which helps to prove the concept above, you may have noticed that if you pin down a good Sunday-keeper who knows his Bible, and force him to explain why he keeps Sunday instead of Saturday as the Sabbath, he will tell you it is “because it is on that day that Jesus rose from the dead”!

You know, JESUS didn’t rise from the dead on Sunday morning! But the GOD OF THIS WORLD’S CHURCHES DID!

By now I think I’ve shown some solid indications that Satan’s doctrines reveal his plan and his nature just as God’s doctrines reveal HIS plan and HIS nature. But let’s show a few more. One of my favorites is the Beatific vision. This is the Doctrine that says that the righteous will spend all eternity staring into the face of God. Not doing anything else, just staring in a euphoric stupor into the face of God in blissful peace.

God isn’t a vain, pompous creature who needs you to stare at him for all eternity to feel secure, nor is he a monster who thinks he’s worth looking at for an endless eternity to the exclusion of all else! BUT THERE IS A GOD WHO DOES THINK SO! There IS a being who DOES think that he is so beautiful that mankind should want to stare at his awesome beauty for all eternity!

Ezekiel 28:17 Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness:…

This is speaking of Satan – that same God of this world who dreamed up the concept of the Beatific vision!

The possibilities of this line of thought are endless! Every doctrine from the impoverished populous crawling on bloody knees to pilgrimage sites to leave offerings to show their piety, to the cross that Shem probably used to kill Nimrod, to the nine rings of hell in an ever burning underworld reserved for the incorrigibly wicked, all the way down to the beloved Christmas tree, shows a piece of the nature of the Devil and reveals a few of the details of his plan to “save” mankind from the plan of God!

I will close this article with one last doctrine, which I think will lay all doubts to rest as to the veracity of this theory. According to most of the world, the Devil will be captured, locked into a little cage, and held there, tortured and screaming, for all of eternity. And yet God says that the wages of sin is DEATH! God KILLS his enemies, nowhere does He torture them! And God promises to kill Satan as well! (Ezekiel 28:12-19).

So why does Satan think that God will lock him into a little box to be tortured for all time? BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT SATAN INTENDS TO DO TO GOD! Satan ENJOYS torturing his helpless victims! Satan would get bored with eternity if he didn’t have an enemy, always kept alive, always in pain, to resurrect just so he can plant a boot in his face to keep himself amused!

THIS IS THE FUTURE, as the Devil pictures it! Triumph upon triumph, always defeating the enemy in victory after victory throughout endless time, always crushing his enemies and yet never totally destroying them!

And so, YES! The doctrines of the Devil do reveal his plan. And that is why he NEEDS you to keep Easter, he NEEDS you to keep Christmas and to take the Eucharist! Because, just like God’s true holy days, Satan’s holidays serve a crucial purpose for him! And that purpose is that keeping them will teach you to view the future as HE foresees it, to remember the past as HE tells it, and to see reality has HE perceives it! And in order to win this coming battle against God, HE MUST HAVE THE SUPPORT OF THE DECEIVED BILLIONS IN THIS WORLD TODAY, AND HE WANTS YOUR HELP TOO!
